Rare decorative handkerchief with a double coat of arms under a crown: Austria-Tuscany and Bourbon-Sicily. The coats of arms belong to Maria Immaculata Clementina (* April 14, 1844 in Naples; † February 18, 1899 in Vienna), born Princess of Bourbon-Sicily and Karl Salvador of Austria-Tuscany (* April 30, 1839 in Florence; † January 18, 1892 in Vienna), Archduke of Austria and Prince of Tuscany. The two married in Rome on September 19, 1861. The handkerchief that belonged to the parents of Maria Immaculata of Württemberg also dates from this time. Excellently preserved. Very, very rare to find.

Handkerchiefs of this kind cost a small fortune even back then. This handkerchief is made of cotton batiste with bobbin lace trim on the edge. The photograph is not included. It can be supplied as a copy if you are interested.
